Methodology
Top UK Universities
The selection of the top six UK universities was made by selecting the universities that ranked in the top 10 list of all three of the most prestigious UK graduate universities as at 2022. These were the “Complete University Guide”, the “Guardian”, and the “QS Top Universities”. These universities were:
- University of Oxford
- University of Cambridge
- Imperial College London
- University College London
- London School of Economics
- University of Warwick
Given that the Foundation is based in London, we supplemented this list with the top London university, King’s College London, that was not already included as part of our selected universities.
Lastly, we wanted to ensure that we did not miss out on students interested in attending the top UK business schools. We used the most prestigious business school ranking list in the world, the Financial Times ranking list, selecting the top UK business school, London Business School.
While the universities can frequently change positions on the rankings lists, to ensure continuity and the ability to build long term relationships with these universities, the Trustees have decided to adopt these universities as the preferred universities for the Foundation for the foreseeable future.
